Our main activities are:

The Alfa International is a non-profit organization active for more than ten years in the field of physical activity exploited as instrument of communication, relationship, fun, learning, growth, knowledge and well-being for children and women in rural Macedonia.

Special activities and services:

Communication

Communicating with children adolescents, families and co-workers;

Painting knowledge

Gaining a thorough painting knowledge of relevant children’s Art Olympiad

Coordination

Coordinated treatment interventions, organised recreational and social activities;

Implementing strategies

Implementing strategies such as planned daily activities, coordinated treatment interventions, organised recreational and social activities;

Child and Youth Care Workers

work to improve the physical, emotional, intellectual and social development of troubled children and women;

Building relationships

with children and/or adolescents in order to support them built self-esteem and work towards improving behaviour;

Alfa International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the Green living, culture promotion, art and adaptive strategies of our nation’s cultural legacies. By honoring and transmitting these cultural traditions, we offer today’s citizenry as closer connection with their recent past that’s more sustainable over the long-term.

Impact / Contribution to Society

Alfa International has identified four projects that will enhance the quality of the children’s lives, improve the sustainability of the Home and reduce its impact on the environment. Three of the four, have the added advantage of creating jobs around the community: The Art Olympiad Project, Culture activities and eaqualy promotions, Free health care clinic, Zero energy house for Poor children

Mission

To continually strive to offer fair living conditions to those in our community through education and professional training programs. Since 2009, the Alfa International has worked tirelessly on behalf of underprivileged children, youth and women in rural Macedonia to end poverty and illiteracy through education and health training programs.

The Art Olympiad is a program that helps children in their daily life, giving them the chance to build a better future. It’s a highly personalised approach to child welfare, as every child’s family situation is different. By sponsoring a child with Alfa international, you are giving a child a scholarship. Your scholarship fund provides local impoverished children with access to quality education and life-saving resources such a clean nature, nutritious food and provision of health care.

As a sponsors, you’ll have the opportunity for a personalized relationship with the child, be a part of their growth and development, and eventually be a real partner in their future. Our long term plan is to work on establishing a Alfa health clinic and to collaborate with local clinics and interested health partners to provide health services at this clinic for Alfa beneficiaries at no cost. We are currently studying the program scope and implementation strategies required to take this project forward.

Staff

The permanent staff Alfa International is composed by 3 persons that coordinates every year more than 50 educators, developing different initiatives declined in sport, physical and artistic expression and playful-recreational education activities. The organization implements its activities through education and motion laboratories in schools (addressed differently both to teachers and students), through conciliation initiatives for. The social impact of its activities falls in the spheres of well-being and education of young through their engagement in multidisciplinary sport and training activities, and in the support to local authorities in involving young people from disadvantaged groups of the population.
